First Time Home Buyer Process

1. Discovery Call

We'll start with an in-depth consultation to understand your financial situation, needs, and home ownership goals. As a first time home buyer, this is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions and get to know us.

2. Application and Document Collection

Getting pre-approved for a mortgage is an important first step and we’ll need to begin with an application and collection of ALL supporting documentation. The goal in this step is accuracy.

Thank You!

3. Congratulations! You’ve Been Pre-Approved

Next, we’ll schedule a strategy call to review your maximum pre-approval amount and develop budget-friendly strategies. During this call, we’ll also discuss what to expect in the home buying process. After the call, you’ll receive an email with your personalized budget proposal based on our discussion.

4. Shopping For a Home

While you and your realtor search for your new home, we’ll keep in close contact. Please share details of any properties you’re interested in so we can include them in your budget. Our goal is to provide a precise breakdown of your potential payments for any home you're considering, ensuring you have an accurate understanding of your financial commitment.

5. Approved

Once you've found your forever home and your application has been approved, we'll assist you in finalizing your home purchase. This includes updating and submitting any additional documents and managing the paperwork, all while keeping you informed throughout the underwriting process.

Home Buying Guide: Our comprehensive guide covers everything you need to know about buying your first home, from budgeting to moving in.

Mortgage Calculator: Use our online calculator to estimate your monthly payments and see what you can afford.

Once all conditions of the approval have been satisfied our job comes to a close. Next, we instruct the lawyer. A full document package is then sent to the lawyer where you will provide the remainder of the funds for the down payment, verify identification and anything remaining to close the home both legally and financially.
